One of the main reasons we created banners is so that community owners can have additional monetisation possibilities. An external company can pay for 10,000 views or 1,000 clicks on their sponsored banner – and everything would be easily tracked with this feature. Of course – banners by themselves are tremendously helpful in growing and engaging your own community too – just that we see a bigger use case for this in the monetisation space.
