How do I purchase credits?
Credits are purchased within the app. Once you're logged in, head over to your profile (top right corner) > Server Credits. On that page, you'll be able to purchase credits or redeem your coupon credits.
What are coupon credits?
Coupon credits are like "lifetime" credits. Meaning that if you have 10 coupon credits, they last for a lifetime without you having to pay and renew them each month. They can also be transferred from one server to another.
How do I get coupon credits?
Coupon credits are only sold during special events such as special collaborations (eg. appsumo launch).
How do I redeem coupon credits?
Redeeming coupon credits is simple! Head over to your profile (top right corner) > click on "Server Credits" and there will be a section called "Redeem Codes". Paste your coupon codes there and you'll be able to redeem coupon credits.
What do I do once I have purchased credits?
Once you have purchased credits, you can then "pledge" them to any server you wish - even servers you don't own. When a server has more credits, they unlock more features automatically.
Can I transfer credits around?
Yes, you can. If you've pledged credits to a certain server, and would like to transfer it to another server, you can simply do so by heading to your profile (top right corner of the app) > click on "Server Pledges" on the left navigation bar. Once there, you can click on "Transfer Pledged Credits" to move your credits from one server to another.
What happens when a server drops below the required credits for a feature?
You will lose access to that feature immediately. For example, if you have "Gamification" enabled with 30 credits pledged - if your server drops to 29 credits, the system automatically turns off that feature. It's built this way to make the enabling and disabling of features fast and snappy.
Can I pledge to servers I don't own?
Yes, you can! If there's a server you really like and would like to give them a nice little boost - you can simply pledge to them.
HOWEVER, server owners have the ability to disable pledging functions for their community - so if they do this, you won't be able to pledge to that server.
The reason for this is because sometimes server owners want a completely white-labelled experience and wish to pledge the credits themselves (vs relying on their community members to do so).
Can I prevent other users from pledging to my server?
Yes, you can. To do this, in your "Server Settings", you will find the function called "Server Pledge".
By default, this is turned off (meaning that users can pledge). By turning this "On", you'll allow your members to pledge credits to your server.
